- Dates/times: Monday May 16- Friday May 20
4:30 pm - 8:30 pm - matches will be on tournament draw and players will only need to be present for their match times - Tournament format - UTR will be used for initial seeding only
- All players must have a current physical on file and all athletic paperwork turned in on rankone (link to all forms here) to be eligible for tryouts
- Players will have the Tennis class (JV or Varsity) added to their schedule for next year if they make the team. Varsity tennis is 1st/5th and JV is 4th/8th.
- There is no PE tennis class at LTHS. Only players who make the team are in the athletic class periods.
- Practice will begin the week of August 8th for varsity and the second day of school for JV.

- Times and dates are posted on each round. Boys will start on Tuesday along with 2 girls' matches and the girls will start on Wednesday.
- Please note that tryouts are still scheduled through Friday as there is a chance for rain. Updates will be sent out on the tryout remind text. - https://www.remind.com/join/97ea8g7 - CLICK TO JOIN
- Parents and players may both join this text update to make sure they get the messages.
- Delays due to weather will also be sent out on the LTHS tennis twitter which is @LTHSCreel
- Match format is 2 out of 3 sets no ad scoring with a 10-point tiebreaker for the 3rd set.
- NO PARENTS OR OTHER SPECTATORS ALLOWED AT TRYOUTS.
- Players should play their matches and then plan to leave the tennis facility unless they have another match scheduled for that day.
- Players should bring a large full gallon water jug and their own gear just like for any other tournament.
- Only players who make the team will be in the tennis class periods next year as athletic periods are reserved for those on the team.
- There is no PE tennis class but many other opportunities available for players who do not make the team.
- All players should have a physical on file with the LTISD athletic trainers to try out.
